The Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) recently hosted an insightful workshop on the drivers of risks impacting our built environment. Participants discussed how our cities are evolving and what actions we can take to address both known and unknown risks.

Key Takeaways:

Understanding amplified risks in our rapidly changing cities and strategies to mitigate them.

• Identifying key role players and institutions addressing these risks.

Facilitator:

She graduated from BUET and obtained her Masters from Oxford Brookes University’s Centre for Development and Emergency Practice. Currently, Rumana is a Policy Advisor for the UK government, with extensive work in housing, infrastructure, and post-disaster recovery.

Thank you to IAB and all participants for a productive discussion! Let’s keep building resilient and sustainable cities.
