The architectural community of Bangladesh has once again shined on the international stage at ARCASIA Awards for Architecture 2025 (AAA 2025), held during ACA21 in Incheon, South Korea (7–14 September 2025).
• Ar. Enamul Karim Nirjhar for his outstanding project “Chaabi House” – a landmark achievement for Bangladesh, proving how aesthetics, functionality, and culture can merge into world-class architecture.
• Ar. Sharif Uddin Ahammed (Sthapotik) for a remarkable landscape project that addressed contextual complexities, biodiversity, water management, and social inclusivity within limited resources. A true example of Architecture for Responsive Environments.
• Ridwan Noor Nafis, Lecturer, DoA BUET (Batch ’17), for his thesis “Urban Tune-Up: Architectural Packages for Block-Based Rooftop Spaces as Containers of Public Life”. Supervised by Dr. Khandaker Shabbir Ahmed and Maherul Kader Prince, this project reimagines Dhaka’s rooftops as vibrant layers of public life.
These remarkable recognitions highlight the strength, innovation, and international standing of Bangladeshi architecture. IAB proudly congratulates all the winners for bringing such honor to our nation and inspiring future generations of architects.
