Conference Theme
Rethinking Architectural Education for Future Practice
Architectural education is at a turning point, facing rapid technological change, climate challenges, and shifting societal needs. This theme invites a critical re-examination of how architects are trained to meet the demands of future practice — bridging academia and professional practice, embracing digital and hybrid learning, and embedding sustainability, ethics, and resilience into curricula.
By fostering dialogue across cultures and disciplines, the conference seeks to envision architectural education as a dynamic, adaptive system — one that equips future architects with the skills, values, and imagination to thrive in a complex, globalized world.
Presentations may be delivered in person or online. The event is structured as a one-day hybrid symposium.

Dhaka — City Brief
Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is a vibrant metropolis of over 20 million people — one of the most densely populated cities in the world. The city is home to a rich architectural heritage spanning Mughal-era mosques, colonial-era buildings, and contemporary modernist landmarks. As the centre of Bangladesh’s cultural, intellectual, and economic life, Dhaka offers international visitors a dynamic blend of history, cuisine, and urban energy. October is part of the post-monsoon season, offering pleasant temperatures (22–30°C) and clear skies — ideal for travel and sightseeing.
