An architectural design competition titled -“Open Architectural Design Competition for the Design of Ten Storied Academic Building for Dhaka Residential Model College (DRMC) within Its campus at Mohammadpur, Dhaka.”- has been jointly organized by Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) & Dhaka Residential Model College (DRMC).
This competition calls for an innovative architectural design for a contemporary academic building that fosters learning, collaboration, and community. The Project ideas seeks visionary solutions that balance functionality, aesthetic value, and long-term adaptability—setting a benchmark for future academic environments.
The project timelines are as follows:
Registration form collection: October 05, 2025, to October 11, 2025, by 8:00 PM
Registration Deadline: October 12, 2025, by 8:00 PM
Site VISIT:13 October 2025, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Receiving Queries: 13 October 2025, from 12:00 PM. to 1:00 PM
Submission: November 20, 2025, 6:00 PM at IAB Center
Jury: November 22, 2025, to December 09, 2025.
